National security in Peru requires facing risk scenarios that develop in multiple dimensions, in which intelligence activity becomes extremely important so that at the end of the cycle a framework of tranquility is offered that facilitates small and medium-sized companies to innovate and face market challenges, highlighting the importance of greater participation of interest groups. On the other hand, the main objective of the nation's security - the protection of our territorial integrity - should not be neglected, so the analysis of wars regarding the actions of the belligerent parties should not be left aside.

On the other hand, the 21st century requires us to study the influence of the environment on the quality of life in a macroeconomic context in Peru to ensure our natural resources, mainly water and our green areas.

In this issue, at a national juncture in which Peru's adversaries seek to distort efforts to put forward proposals for the benefit of Peru, the contributions of the Centro de Altos Estudios Nacionales - Escuela de Posgrado in the construction of the nation state and the consolidation of Peru's national security are highlighted.
