Review policy

The Revista de Ciencia e Investigación en Defensa   applies a double-blind review policy. The double-blind system means that the experts –selected by the Editorial Committee– do not know the identity of the author or authors of the work, or vice versa. For this purpose, the authors are requested that their manuscripts do not have any personal reference. That same prescription is given to reviewers.

The review includes verification of the existence of evidence of the object of study, methods applied and materials used and that these are of quality, results that show the research carried out, discussion of the contribution of the research in relation to the state of knowledge of the topic.

The evaluation also considers the alignment of the research with ethical canons, with the specific practices of the proposed topic, with the editorial policy of the journal, for which – on this platform – prescriptions are included for the authors and guides for the reviewers with the purpose of providing adequate information for the final decision on the publication of the article.
