In Peru, national security – incredibly – continues to be confused with national defense in the military field, despite the fact that the National Defense System was created with multi-sector and different levels of government participation . In this edition we present articles on varioust aspects that are related to national security, but before they can generate a risk scenario, they constitute a specific task of some public entity, often a component of the national Defense System, which is why coordination, cooperation and collaboration between the members of this functional system, which is chaired by the President of the Republic.
